About Us

In 1971, Andy Ong and his friend started Metropolitan Lucky Trading in P. Zamora Street in San Pablo City. Two years later, his friend left and opened his own store in his hometown while Andy stayed and married Lydia, a school teacher, and the store was renamed A&L Lucky Trading. The business primarily was a lumber and construction materials stores. The business enjoyed great success with the objective of excellent customer service, and the best price without sacrificing quality. Soon, paints, plumbing, hardware and electrical supplies were also added to the business.

In 2007, A&L Lucky Trading spun off a new, modern hardware store with his youngest son, Harold, at the helm and named it Harley’s Home Hardware. The new venture strengthen the focus on the finishing and life enhancement side of the business. With the mother company focus on building the foundation on your home and project, Harley’s focuses on turning your house to the home that you want.
